Jaheim Hoagland (born May 28, 1978) is an African-American R&B singer performing under the mononymous name of Jaheim. Jaheim is known for his soulful bass voice. He was signed to Kaygee (of Naughty by Nature)'s Divine Mill Records in 2000 and released his debut album, Ghetto Love, through the label in 2001. His second effort, Still Ghetto, was released a year later, both to platinum success.1 Jaheim's third album, Ghetto Classics, was released on February 14, 2006, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 selling over 153,000 copies in its first week.
Jaheim has been a resident of Hillsborough Township, New Jersey.2 He is the grandson of the late 1960s soul singer Hoagy Lands.
Jaheim is good friends with the rapper Jadakiss, they made Everytime I Think About Her and the remixes of Ain't Leavin Without You & Diamond in da Ruff together.
He is currently working on his fifth album "Another Round" which will be released on February 9, 2010. The first single of the album "Ain't Leavin Without You", was released on October 23, 2009.
He is also currently attending St. Johns University.
